Muzaffarnagar. With the objective of spreading awareness about social justice, equality, and constitutional values, the bicycle journey undertaken by Dr. Satyendra Pal, State Vice President of the Teachers’ Wing of the Samajwadi Party, from Shahpur to Muzaffarnagar has completed one full year. To mark the occasion, a Great Leaders’ Felicitation and Ideological Programme was organized in Muzaffarnagar.
For the past year, Dr. Satyendra Pal has continuously undertaken this bicycle journey on the birth anniversaries and death anniversaries of great leaders. Starting from his residence in Shahpur, he would cycle to the Samajwadi Party office in Muzaffarnagar, carrying portraits of eminent personalities and sharing their lives, struggles, and ideas with the public. Speakers at the programme highlighted that the journey continued uninterrupted throughout the year, setting an inspiring example.
Addressing the gathering, speakers said that this bicycle journey was not merely symbolic, but a sustained effort to educate people about social justice, the Constitution, and democratic values. Through regular interaction with different sections of society, especially teachers and youth Dr. Satyendra Pal worked to connect people with the thoughts and ideals of great leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Satyendra Pal said that his journey was not about power, but about the rights and dignity of the common man. He described the bicycle as a symbol of ordinary people and said it was through this simple means that messages of equality, brotherhood, and justice were being conveyed. He added that real change comes not just by remembering great leaders, but by adopting their ideas in everyday life.
Participants at the programme said that carrying out a bicycle journey for an entire year on the occasions of birth and death anniversaries of great leaders was truly commendable. A large number of teachers, youth, Samajwadi Party workers, and people from various sections of society were present, all describing the initiative as inspiring and meaningful for the younger generation.
During this time, former MP Qadir Rana, District President Zia Chaudhary, former District President Pramod Tyagi, Vinay Pal, Deepti Pal, Pooja Ambedkar, and others were present.
